Fixed Reach Top Loading Arm Single Hatch Compartment (TL-54)

Fixed reach and single compartment (TL-54) top loading arms are used for loading product into trucks, rail-cars or totes. It is often referred to as a fixed reach top loading arm as it allows very little mis-spot of a truck or railcar, these arms are typically used in single compartment tank trucks or rail cars. It includes a spring-balanced double swivel at the base for up/down and left/right movement. An additional swivel at the end of the arm allows the drop tube to stay vertical.

Available in Right Hand or Left Hand, Up Feed or Down Feed and Horizontal Feed Loading configurations.

A-Frame Bottom Loading Arm (AF-54)

Our A-Frame Bottom Transfer Loading Arm (AF-54) is designed for applications where extended reach is needed if vehicles cannot be accurately spotted for loading. A-Frame bottom loader arms store with the primary in a vertical position. When extended, the primary arm and drop pipe or hose create an “A” shape. Used when space overhead is available for the riser pipe, either hose or pipe can be used in the drop section to reach the connection point.

Available in Right Hand or Left Hand, Up Feed or Down Feed and Horizontal Feed Loading configurations.

A-Frame Bottom Loading Arm Applications

  • The A-frame bottom loading arms can be spaced horizontally on 24″ centerlines which allow multiple arms to be installed in a confined area.
  • Tight spacing allows use in applications where multiple products are loaded into trucks in the same bay (such as Petroleum Terminals).
  • Up and down rotation conforms to the API loading envelope as defined by API 1004RP.
  • Longer A-frame arms are often used in top loading and unloading on railcars; common in closed fill applications where the arm connects to a nozzle on the railcar.

Bottom Loader Arm (BL-54)

Our Bottom Transfer Loading Arm (BL-54) is designed for applications where extended reach is needed if vehicles cannot be accurately spotted for loading. BL-54 extended reach bottom loading arms store primary in a horizontal position to either side of the riser pipe depending on the piping layout and pre-existing obstructions. These arms rotate above and below horizontal to reach the connection point on the truck. They require less overhead space than the AF-54 but require more space adjacent to the arms for storage; either hose or pipe can be used in the drop section to reach the connection point.

Available in Right Hand or Left Hand, Up Feed or Down Feed and Horizontal Feed Loading configurations.

Bottom Transfer Loading Arm (BT-377)

Our Bottom Transfer Loading Arm (BT-377) is designed for applications where extended reach is needed if vehicles cannot be accurately spotted for loading. BT-377 bottom loading or unloading arms are low-profile and so require no overhead structure for support. Typically mounted very low to the ground, the primary arm and boom sections extend out into the loading area like an accordion. BT-377 arms are used when storage space is laterally available and no upper structure is available for support.

Available in Right Hand or Left Hand, Up Feed or Down Feed, and Horizontal Feed Loading configurations.

Horizontal Bottom Transfer Loading Arm Accessories
